Katoomba Leura Preschool is a community managed, not for profit preschool providing education and care for children

3 to 5 years of age with an Exceeding the National Quality Standard rating by ACECQA.
 

We provide a welcoming environment where all children and families are respected and valued and are actively encouraged to work in partnership with our educators.
 

We believe the foundations laid in the early years are crucial to a child’s development and dispositions for life-long learning. 
 

Educators support children’s learning and well-being by providing warm, trusting relationships and thoughtful environments; enhancing their creative, emotional, social, physical, intellectual and spiritual selves.
 

Our educators are responsive to all children’s strengths, abilities and interests; acknowledging that children are competent, capable, knowledgeable and curious about their world.
 

Our unique outdoor play-spaces foster a life long appreciation of the land and develop environmental awareness, inviting exploration, risk taking, discovery and connection with nature.
